Pickup Instructions
Your car is ready and waiting for you! Here's everything you need for a smooth, self-service pickup.
📍 Pickup Location
We are located in Carlingford, NSW. Street address details will be shared at your scheduled pickup time.
🔑 Getting Your Keys
Your car keys are secured in a key box attached to the vehicle. To unlock it:
- Locate the key box — you'll find it on the window.
- Enter your access code: [XXXX]. Code will be provided after booking completes.
- Open the box and retrieve the keys
- Place the key box inside the car in the centre storage area, glove box or some another safe place within the car.
Your code is valid from your booking start time and is unique to your rental. Please don't share it with anyone else.
📸 Before You Drive Off
Before starting your trip, please:
- Do a quick walkaround of the car and compare it to the condition photos we sent you
- Take your own photos of the exterior, interior, fuel gauge, and odometer
- Upload and send them via email in reply to booking confirmation email — this takes two minutes and protects you in case of any dispute later
⛽ Fuel & Odometer
Note the fuel level and odometer reading — you'll find both in the condition report we sent you. Please match this when you return the car.
❓ Any Issues?
If the key box code doesn't work, the car isn't where expected, or anything looks off, message us immediately before driving — don't attempt to troubleshoot alone.
Return Instructions
Returning the car is just as simple.
📍 Return Location
Please return the car to same location by [return date & time], unless you've already arranged an extension with us.
⛽ Fuel
Return the car with the same fuel level you received it — refuel beforehand if needed to avoid a refuelling charge.
🔑 Returning the Keys
- Park the car in the agreed return spot
- Place the keys back in the key box
- Enter the same access code: [XXXX]
- Close and lock the box securely
📸 Final Photos
Before you leave, take a final set of photos — exterior, interior, fuel gauge, and odometer — and upload & share them the same way you did at pickup. This closes out your rental record and speeds up your deposit refund.
💰 Deposit & Charges
We'll review your return photos against the pickup condition report within [24–48 hours] and release your deposit, minus any applicable tolls, fines, or fuel charges as outlined in your rental agreement.
⏰ Running Late?
Message us as soon as possible — unnotified late returns may incur additional charges and affect your deposit.
